| Patricia Vitiello, L.C.S.W., corporate/life coach and Epona Advanced Approved Instructor in San Diego has advised individuals, couples, families, and corporations since 1972. During her 36 year career, Patricia has gained experience in the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities, parole and community services, hospice, eating disorders and substance abuse treatment. As a corporate consultant Patricia has worked in diverse industries with all levels of employees. She is a published author and integrates creative writing in her workshops. Patricia has had horses in her animal family for twenty years and worked in her teens on a Wyoming cattle ranch. Her combined years of experience working in professional counseling/consulting and with horses provides a strong foundation for facilitating her clients’ experiential learning and personal growth. |

Robert Vitiello, EPIC horse handler and approved Epona Instructor Partner (EIP), has cared for horses for 18 years and is currently studying natural hoof trimming. Robert has worked for United Airlines for 32 years in ramp and customer service, in supervision and training, and now in the San Diego Station Control Center. He has experienced many changes in his work and personal life and has learned to overcome adversity with grace. Together Patricia and Robert have used the challenges life presented them to stabilize and solidify their marriage. Their strong partnership creates a compassionate and caring environment for participants to learn about themselves, to find their own strengths and deepen relationships. |

| Patricia
partners with other equine professionals in California and
in Texas to
provide a variety of equine
experiential
learning
workshops. Both
Robert and Patricia are also certified in ESCT, an equine therapy
for nervous horses that enables the horses to transform their impulse
to flee into a relaxed choice to stay. Patricia is a certified EMDR psychotherapist and specializes in helping individuals to overcome fear and anxiety. Check our Schedule page for upcoming events. |

With their equine partners and the beautiful natural setting of EPIC, Patricia and Robert create a safe place to explore feelings, navigate change, enhance personal relationships, and discover one's authentic self. EPIC is located on 2.5 acres in the peaceful community of Eucalyptus Hills in east San Diego County, 30 minutes from downtown and the airport, and has a second location in the mountains of Tehachapi in Bear Valley Springs, California. |
